the page i have chosen for my comic analysis is from issue 1 of “Supergirl.’
the specific page i have chosen is located in the middle of the comic and is a spash page. this page relies on strong, powerful visual elements to show the intensity of the scene to the audience.

there is minimal text in the image. however, the text that is shown is very small and short. the use of the small phrases indecates that superwoman doesnt particlarly have time to speak and use dialogue, since she is fighting. this helps portray the intesity of this scene.

onomatopia is also shown on thuis spalash page. the words “BOOM” and “CHOOM” are placed in the explosion to enphasise and show how powerful it is.

camera techniques used in this spash page are low camera angles and mid shots. during the explosion a low camera shot is used to show the impact, and to express wonder woman as being powerful and strong. in the top corners panels of wonderwoman are shown as mid shots. this construsts the feeling of chaos.
